found out the dates

well my first cruise will be January 17th afterall... so much for filling in for the bad piano player that got his act together just in the nick of time... I will be aboard the Carnival Valor from Jan 17th to April 17th, and after a month break will board the Carnival Dream from May 15th (the day after my birthday.... ) to Aug 15th... Between now and then? Work on my chops so i don't end up being called in for a replacement..... ;)

when will i start?

well i thought i was starting Oct 22 to fill in for a piano player who was not playing well, but now it looks as if he got his act together just in the nick of time.... Because when my boss, Padraic tried to contact the Music Director of the ship i was supposed to join, the Carnival Fascination, the Music Director seemed to want to keep him on board now... If only we had contacted him while the piano player was still blowing it! Oh well, i guess i might just start when i originally was supposed to start, January 17th.... ;)
